“Learn how to weave a basic ti leaf lei using flowers and ferns, which can be worn on the head or around your neck. Learn how the lei expresses love and was gifted on very special occasions by the Hawaiian Ali’i (royalty). Lei making is open to both keiki (children) and adults.”

“As part of The Shops at Wailea’s Center-wide revitalization, seating is provided throughout the property for guests to enjoy. At this time, The Shops kindly ask guests not to bring their own chairs. “All are invited to participate in a Beach Clean-up in Kaanapali. Volunteers may park at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach, located at 2481 Kaanapali. Meet at the beachfront, pool hale, adjacent to the pool.
This community service is organized quarterly by The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach and the Rotary Club of Lahaina. Cleaning supplies will be provided to all volunteers. For more information, please call 661-6003. Let’s keep our island clean!”
