In August 2023, Maui experienced catastrophic wildfires that devastated Lahaina. Help poured in from surrounding communities. And continues to do so fourteen months later.  

While the road ahead is long, and roadblocks are not unexpected, good news and updates are available from multiple sources.

Hiking Maui: Fun and Easy Trails

Kapalua Coastal Trail 

Distance: 2.5 Miles  

Perfect for runners or walkers, this West Maui trail is full of informational signs about the flora and fauna of the area.
